Read Luke 18:1-8
Through many trials yet to go through or some experienced not long ago, there tends to be the habit of letting go of God and holding on to reason or rationale. Jesus reminds the disciples to always pray and never give up (v1). He then shared a parable about a widow who pleas with the judge for justice against her adversary.
Many times we too cry out for justice and when we don't find it, we throw in the towel thinking maybe this was not to be or that God cannot hear us. In Luke 11:9, Jesus said, "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."
I pray that as I seek for open doors, you lead me to the right one, and that I ask, seek and knock until You answer and lead me onto the path You set for me. Keep me humble and give me the heart to keep knocking because I know You will surely answer. Thank You for Your promise to us. Amen.
